Our babymoon in Portugal part 1: Faro

As explained in my previous blog, we got a travel voucher from a dear friend of Vittorio’s family to use for our honeymoon. Since we had to postpone our party already twice, our voucher was expiring and we had to book something before December 2021. We decided to turn it into a babymoon instead, a last holiday with the 2 of us before the baby arrives and to spend some quality time together. Here’s a recap of our stay in Faro!

Venice after Corona

You might remember Venice as the city who was suffering from mass tourism so much that even the major begged people to stay away. And rightfully so. Roughly 25 million tourists visit Venice every year. And then Corona happened… The sloppy water turned transparent, the squares were empty. The city could breath again. From 25 to 28 June, we were in Venice. A bit over a month after it reopened. It was surreal and at the same time felt amazing to experience the city this way.
